C and E Vitamins Minerals Hold No Risks |

Before reading an article from the Times of India called Vitamins don’t increase melonoma this morning I had no idea that some researchers and nutritionists had thought C and E vitamins minerals may be linked to a risk of melanoma in men and women. Well thankfully a large scale research study laid those worries to rest. According to the article over 160,000 women were surveyed and then followed up with some time down the road who had been ingesting A, C and E vitamins minerals. There was no linked found between those studied and an increase for melanoma. Not sure if there were any people out there who thought there were risks associated with these vitamins minerals but it has turned out to be urban legend.
Science is a very funny thing. In order for it to be considered science it has to be falsifiable, which makes us take every study with a grain of salt. I am more apt to believe a long term study that covered over 100,000 participants. It is never a bad idea to bring nutritional supplements into the equation. What harm could it do? Nothing, the only harm will come to colds and disease that try to battle a bullet proof immune system.
