Nutritional Supplements And Treating My Respiratory Tract Infection |

I am just starting to recover from what I think is bronchitis and I did not go to the doctors for it. Instead I treated myself with bed rest, nutritional supplements, plenty of fluids, vitamins minerals from fruits and vegetables and an over the counter expectorant. I have been taking nutritional supplements and looking after myself for years. I am prone to respiratory tract infections because childhood asthma left me with weak lungs but because I take my nutritional supplements each day and I avoid pestering my doctor for antibiotics I can usually get over them quite quickly. However it seems my sister-in-law has trouble believing this. My husband told her I wasn’t feeling well and she attempted to browbeat him into making me visit the doctor. If I get worse instead of better then of course I will go to the doctor. However I’ve had bronchitis before and I know what the doctor will tell me to do, which is why I am already doing it. I have been taking nutritional supplements for five years. It is over six years since the last time I took antibiotics or visited my doctor for a respiratory tract infection.
