For example some of the nutritional supplements I take are intended to help me sleep. I take melatonin and valerian and I have also used hops in the past. I am a very light sleeper and I have an overactive mind. The nutritional supplements I take work effectively and help me to get some rest without the need for a prescription sleep aid and I believe they also keep me in shape. You see if I don’t get enough rest two things happen that would make me gain weight if I were sleep deprived for any length of time. First of all when I am tired I eat more because I am trying to replace the energy I don’t have. What’s more the foods I crave for when I am tired are not good for me. Secondly if I am tired I lack sufficient energy to do any exercise. Hence I know that if I regularly went without sleep I would be as big as a house. I would also be extremely irritable and I really would rather not be overweight and angry.  I take the aforementioned nutritional supplements so that this does not happen.
