Build Muscle and Fight Fat |

As we get older, our waist line tends to get a bit bigger. However, we can dampen the effects of age if we learn how to build muscle. If we learn how to build muscle we are going to be speeding our metabolism up and prompting our body to produce fat burning hormones. Most people when they reach their mid thirties tend to start gaining weight even though they haven’t made any significant changes to their diet. The problem is that when we are younger, our bodies tend to more naturally build muscle and when we enter mid age, our body slows down the build muscle process. Since muscle is metabolically more active than almost anything, as we lose muscle mass, we also lose some metabolic speed. However, if we learn to incorporate some weight lifting exercises in our daily routine, we can not only reverse this problem, but we may be able to even speed our metabolism up higher than before. We are not talking about getting massive like some bodybuilders, but we want to build some lean muscle mass to force the body to burn more calories and produce muscle-building hormones which also tend to be fat-burning hormones. Of course, this should be combined with some bodybuilding supplements to avoid overtraining.
