The absolute best friend of a build muscle routine is music. Music makes us tap our feet, forget our problems, reduce stress and take our mind away from the present. Taking your mind off a build muscle exercise is actually a great thing. Our bodies are capable of outrageous feats. We have all heard stories of people lifting flipped over cars for a second to pull a crash victim out. Under certain circumstances are body creates adrenaline that gives us super human strength. Creatine and other bodybuilding supplements artificially do the same thing.
A natural way to get the endorphins pumping is loud, bass heavy, inspirational lyric producing music. I would never be able to make myself run if it wasn’t for a great build muscle playlist. I turn on the treadmill, start running, get lost in a song, look down at the treadmill and magically be past half mile mark. In the opposite, if I were running without headphones or any distractions a half mile could seem like an eternity. If you are not using music as part of your build muscle routine it is time to add it.
