build muscle There are hardly any people who just love to build muscle. Many of us love the feeling we get after accomplishing something so good for our bodies but there are always a range of reasons for not wanting to hit the gym. My favorite is there is no time, I’ll just go tomorrow, I just ate or there are too many people at the gym. The last one is especially true for me because the little gym within my apartment complex is made up of two ellipticals, two tread mills and a three sided gym machine. If there are more then three people in there it is like taking turns, which is no fun. I used to work out at a campus gym, which at first was a little bit of a confidence killer because you get these people who are in there day after day putting up a lot more weight then yourself. It sounds stupid but it is something I know we have all felt.

My favorite time to build muscle is at night around 10 pm because the apartment’s gym is empty and private. Jogging around the neighbors near my apartment is also dark, quiet and peaceful, which feeds my want to keep going. To me privacy is one of the largest motivators in trying to build muscle. There are no distractions just you, the MP3 player’s music and  build muscle exercises.
