Kickboxing Will Build Muscle |

Recently I tried a new cardio workout that was being offered in my gym. It is called kickboxing. The workout has proven to be a great change of pace to my regular game plan plus I have learned some self defense moves as well. Along with all that I have also been able to build muscle and loose inches.
Kickboxing combines a variety of martial arts movements. It has enabled me to improve my body tone, build muscle strength, flexibility and balance. I have learned to do powerful leg and arm movements along with slow, smooth movements that emphasize my breathing. These varied muscle movements and speeds have gotten me in shape while helping reduce my blood pressure. Not bad for spending three hours a week at the gym doing something I enjoy.
After a kickboxing workout I like to take a yoga or pilates class. Either way it sure feels great to build muscle and then follow it up with dynamic stretches and flexibility movements. I always leave the gym feeling exceptionally good with a relaxed, contented smile on my face. |
