Fun to Build Muscle with Pilates |

I don't know where to begin when it comes to how wonderful pilates has been to my body. I needed a workout that would be a challenge, build muscle and be fun at the same time. Plus I needed to stretch out my limbs from head to toe. I tried pilates at the suggestion of a girlfriend who was a member at a local gym. I came with her one time as her guest and that was all it took. I was a fan of pilates as a fun way to build muscle from that day forward.
The pilates workout starts with a gentle stretching segment that leads into some strenuous power moves. It is those power moves that build muscle. After about twenty five minutes cool down exercises begin. The class ends with more stretching. The entire pilates routine is done to the sounds of soothing music. The instructor is encouraging and shows each participant the correct way to hold the power moves. That way everyone gets the best workout possible and is able to build muscle in a safe controlled environment. I think pilates is great fun! |
