I'm Not Working Out To Build Muscle |

The other day my step-grandson Rick saw me doing some resistance work with my leg weights and dumbbells and he asked me why I was trying to build muscle. I think Rick thought that I was trying to build muscle because he has noticed me working out a lot recently. I explained to Rick that my intention is not to build muscle. I already have rather large muscles for a female and I do not want to look like one of those women bodybuilders with masculine physiques. Instead of trying to build muscle I am trying to increase muscle definition by doing more repetitions with lighter weights. I have been working out more because we have booked our vacation in the Florida Keys this June. I will be spending time on the beach next to our condo rental while we are on vacation. I am trying to ensure that my body looks fit and healthy when I am wearing my swimsuit. That way I can feel confident and enjoy swimming and having fun without feeling paranoid about how my body looks.
